When they are delivered to you, they are pretty much ready to go, but there are a few steps you will need to take to get them from box to ceiling ready. To complete this task, you should first identify the tombstones on your fixture. Take them out of the fixture and flip the fixture onto its back so you can identify the groove more easily. To find the groove, you can gently squeeze and that will make it rise up slightly so you can locate it. When you find these two grooves on the first side of the fixture, simply remove the tombstones and set them aside. Repeat this step on both ends of the fixture. Then you will place your ballast over the fixture and insert the quarter turns in the kit and then turn them until they are tightened. The great thing about quarter turn screws is that you won’t need to use a power tool to get this step done. Once you have one side tightened down, you can repeat the steps on the other end of the fixture. These minimal steps are the only ones you need to take with this type of pre-configured fixture.
