Just installed. As described. I'm sure that this aluminum housing will have a limited life, but it looks good for now. Just the brightness I needed. I do wish there was a version with longer wires since I added a short extension tube and had to add wire extensions right at the end of the tube.

This has to be, hands-down, the easiest way to upfit old troffers that there is. Literally, take out your bulbs, take out the ballast, put in new LEDs, which have magnetic backs, wire in new ballast, which also has a magnetic back, and voila! You're done. It literally took me five minutes. And...
